What are Liposomes?

Liposomes are tiny spheres of liquid, called phospholipid bilayers, that surround and protect the CBD molecule. These bilayers are created in a lab using a machine that disrupts phospholipids, forming small bubbles which safely encapsulate the CBD molecules and protects them against degradation. There are no known side effects from liposomes, they are completely safe and non-toxic.

Advantages of Liposomes

Unlike other CBD delivery methods, liposomes protect and transport ingredients (CBD) past the intestinal tract and directly to the target area, the Endocannabinoid System. The Endocannabinoid System is where the CBD needs to be absorbed so it can do its job. If the CBD were absorbed in the intestines, it would not be as effective.

So, liposomes can dramatically increase the bioavailability of CBD. (Bioavailability is a term used to describe rate and percentage of absorption).
