Growing up in the Amazon rainforest, Autumn made the rarest of friendships – a lost jaguar cub named Hope. When a tragic event forces Autumn to leave Hope behind in the unknown of New York, she dreams of returning to the rainforest and her friend for years. At the age of 14, accustomed to city life, Autumn learns that her childhood village is under threat from animal traffickers and decides that she must return to the Amazon for her beloved jaguar. Anja (Emily Bett Rickards), Autumn’s adorably clumsy biology teacher, tries unsuccessfully to dissuade her from this ill-advised plan. Along with Anja, Autumn embarks on a journey to reunite with Hope and save her from those who seek to destroy the rainforest and its wildlife.
